8. Does feminists women really hate men?
I came up this question because I have heard "Feminists don't like men" on the Internet. However, personally I don't think it is always correct. That's why I want to research about this one opinion and make sure.
I found so many blogs or columns tell us what do feminists think about men on the Internet. Today, I'll introduce two opinions.

This is a columns written by Elain Willson who identified herself as a feminist. She says there are certainly the perception that is "Feminists hate men." in this society. However, she believes not all feminists hate men. Actually she is also the one who love men. In her workplace, she has never experienced sexual harassment and being looked down because of her sex although she has been worked with many men. She understands we all cannot hate someone because they are men.

This one is a little bit different from the above. The writer, Cathy young said too extreme feminism sometimes makes men "un"equal. Here is the quote from this article.
"This gender antagonism does nothing to advance the unfinished business of equality. If anything, the fixation on men behaving badly is a distraction from more fundamental issues, such as changes in the workplace to promote work-life balance. What’s more, male-bashing not only sours many men — and quite a few women — on feminism. It often drives them into Internet subcultures where critiques of feminism mix with hostility toward women."
This question⑧was difficult to find a clear answer and I could understand how do feminists think about men are different depending on people.

I attended a class about feminism this semester with my friend. He said that sometimes the teacher's saying seemed that she hated man, and it made him feel bad.
返信削除I think hating man because of the reason that man is man isn't making problem any better. So, I think all feminist doesn't hate man, and shouldn't hate man.
