Hello😆Here are the answers Q22~25 of my research questions!

23. Are there any feminism event coming up in Japan?

Sorry I could not find it.

24. Are there any country that teaches about the feminism in school.

In America, most schools teach about feminism in high schools. There are some blogs written by the feminist teachers if you search on the website.

25. Does Japan teach about the feminism in school.

There are some university departments that teach about feminism. However, there are no schools where teach about feminism as compulsory subject. There are more gender gaps in Japan compared to other developed countries.


26. Is there any discrimination on men?

I found some discriminations against men in this website.

Our current thinking

Hello! We're sorry to change the order of posting. We're going to talk about our current thinking about feminism before starting a research. To be honest, we haven't known about feminism anything since we started this blog. We couldn't explain even the concept of the "feminism" clearly.  We assume feminism is not so familiar to many people in Japan. When we did a small discussion in our class, many of our classmates answered they didn't know a lot as well. However, it's time to know and think about feminism because we think it is closely related to human rights in a broad sense. In other words, in order to establish women's right, we have to respect not only women but also men. However, we have one question. Is it really good for us to make everything equal between men and women in every kind of situation? What exactly does it mean to establish women's right? Chizuko Ueno  is a  Japanese   sociologist  and  Japan 's "best-known  feminist ". Her research field includes  feminist theory ,  family sociology , and women's history. There were 7 Japanese people who have answered my survey thankfully. Now these are some question and results from my survey! Q.3 Do you think that women are treated fairly in society? I thought this was the good ratio because in these days women are able to work as same as men. However, there are still some thoughts that men is stronger than women in the society.  Q4.
