Our current thinking
Hello!
We're sorry to change the order of posting.
We're going to talk about our current thinking about feminism before starting a research.
To be honest, we haven't known about feminism anything since we started this blog. We couldn't explain even the concept of the "feminism" clearly. We assume feminism is not so familiar to many people in Japan. When we did a small discussion in our class, many of our classmates answered they didn't know a lot as well. However, it's time to know and think about feminism because we think it is closely related to human rights in a broad sense. In other words, in order to establish women's right, we have to respect not only women but also men.
However, we have one question. Is it really good for us to make everything equal between men and women in every kind of situation? What exactly does it mean to establish women's right?
We're going to do some research and try to identify these questions!
Thank you for reading.😀

I think many people misunderstand what feminism is. Feminism or being feminist doesn't mean a woman should be treated like a princess. The word and its concept doesn't ask men to give women special treatment. It’s not that which is in a higher position than the other. It always requires “equal”. We know men and women aren’t physically equal, but our rights as humans should be equal. Interestingly, there are women who don’t want feminism because they are comfortable being “women”. The good example of it is ladies first manners. It’s one of the requirements and conditions for a man to be a gentleman. Some women are inconsistent for claiming that they are feminists but asking men to have the manners at the same time. We should clarify what feminism really is.
返信削除Actually, I also don’t know about feminism. I have heard this word before, but I don’t have any images of this term. I think there are some gaps between and man in japan. Some people criticize this incident. I am the one who want to get women’s right.

In my opinion, it is up to situation. For example, when I do job which needs physical works, I don’t want to same job as men, because you are not so strong like man.
