Answer to question 11,12,13

Hello! Here is the today's question.
11.What are the examples that men and women are treated not equally in Japan?
12.→How is it different from other countries?
13.How would the world change if everything are completely equal between men and women?

On my survey I asked this question.
Do you think these examples show inequality?
・women's only train
・ladies day
・difference of marriageable age
*These are common in Japan.

As we can understand from this result, these examples are recognized as a kind of gender inequality in Japan and there will be more examples. For example, working situation.
I found an interesting article.
Japan slides to 111th in WEF gender equality rankings. (n.d.). Retrieved July 28, 2017, from <http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2016/10/26/national/social-issues/japan-slips-10-notches-111th-wef-gender-equality-rankings/#.WXrSVWXmk9c>
According to it, Japan has ranked in 111th in The Global Gender Gap Report in 2016 conducted by World Economic Forum and especially as for professional and technical workers, gender gap are recognized the most.

This is result of The Gender Global Gap Report in 2016.

I'll introduce top10 countries.
1. Iceland
2. Finland
3. Norway
4. Sweden
5. Rwanda
6. Ireland
7. Phillippines
8. Slovenia
9. New Zealand
10. Nicaragua

Gender equality is important. However, how this world would change if everything are completely equal? I think it is impossible. Equality doesn't mean "sameness." Being different is natural and we have to accept it. Then, we require gender equality based on the concept.
